We enjoyed Koji sushi. The rolls are a very good size. Especially the crunchy roll, for the price it was excellent value. The gyoza were piping hot and crispy. They also gave us a free cucumber roll piece. We would definitely come back. The interior is interesting, it’s half Americana and half sushi restaurant The service was pretty good, I never expect too much.

Koji sushi is the hidden gem of Denton Pros: - super fun atmosphere - lively and diverse clientele - family friendly environment - bold flavors and ideas - fresh ingredients - skilled chef and kitchen staff - huge menu with great selection - brilliant plating and presentation - quick service - generous portions - appropriate prices - meal combo specials - daily sushi specials Cons: - young inexperienced wait staff - limited parking spaces - no table options for large parties (6+) - controversial tv channels playing All in all, I was amazed by this dining establishment and look forward to trying the entire menu over time. There are some minor areas of improvement I hope to see changed in the near future, but I won’t hold it against their unbeatable food.

What a great hidden gem. Honestly, I’ve driven by this spot for years and have yet to try it. My wife and her friend tried it out a few months ago and raved how good it was. They were right, it’s great! High quality sushi for sure. Rolls came out pretty, fast even though the restaurant was at half capacity. We had some regulars behind us and the server already knew their order, which is a good sign in my book. Vibe reminded me of a sushi spot in NYC. Smaller footprint, nicely decorated and designed, just a cool place. Can’t wait to go back.

I recently tried Koji Sushi for a takeout order, and it was fantastic! Ordering over the phone was quick and easy—they told me it would be ready in just 25 minutes. We got a selection of rolls: French Kiss, Call Me Devil, White Tiger, Rock n Roll, and Dragon Fly. All five rolls were incredibly fresh and full of flavor. Each bite was a perfect mix of textures and tastes, and you could tell the ingredients were top-notch. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu. Highly recommend for sushi lovers!

We definitely enjoyed the sushi and their portions! We thought there was a happy hour menu, which there wasn’t but I can say, the prices are absolutely reasonable. The staff were so kind and we were even presented with complimentary sushi pieces. For sure coming back!

If you're new to sushi, I highly recommend this establishment. The quality of the food is consistently good across the menu. I accidentally ordered a dish based on a photo from a mislabelled menu item on google, and while the name and picture didn't match, I decided to try it anyway. To my surprise, the dish had a delightfully clean taste and complemented the other dishes we ordered. I particularly recommend the Butterfly and Lobster Lotus. Although I don't eat raw fish and didn't try it myself, I've heard that the Yellowtail Roll is also excellent.

Had a little girls night dinner here. I wish I remembered my servers name - she was amazing! So funny, attentive, had us laughing the whole night. Food was amazing. Will definitely be back!

Went to this sushi place not ever knowing anything about them. We ordered 4 rolls Temptation, Celebration, Supervolcano and Lobster lotus. We also received as a complimentary, a couple of "cutie sushi's", cucumber wrapped avocado and crab meat and a side order of edamame. All we're absolutely amazing. Even the volcano roll was in flames. Order it and you'll know what I'm talking about. Total cost $86. I know it sounds a little steep, but it's well worth it.
